Anyway, today we’re talking to interior designer and movie critic, Devan Islas (he/him), about the sandy sci-fi epic that defined a genre; It’s DUNE! We discuss gigantic sandworms, badass space witches, books about walking, white saviour tropes, and perpetually relevant gas metaphors. We also touch on Lynch, Villeneuve and the lesser known adaptations (both made and unmade) and why stillsuits are gross, yes, but no worse than drinking from a lake.
